Unreal Engine 4 is one of the most popular graphics engines in the industry, and it’s free for developers to download. Thanks to this wide availability, many fans have been recreating scenes and areas from popular classic games. YouTuber CryZENx has remade numerous game locations from Nintendo franchises, but today we have a pair of Unreal demos from a different creator.
AlbertREWesker has been working on a remake of Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 4, and he recently released videos showing off the Gerudo Fortress and the Kokiri Forest. Wesker’s more modern take on Zelda is a little more detailed and less stylized than CryZENx’s version, which gives you a pretty good idea of how many different things you can do with Unreal, even when working from the same source material.
