The ARMS Nintendo Direct just finished up, and though there wasn’t a whole lot of information outside of character announcements, there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. My personal favorite story is that ARMS, much like Splatoon, is getting an online demo in a couple of weeks. This will be a great chance for Nintendo to sell the gameplay before the game officially launches in a month.

Dubbed the “Global Testpunch,” this event will be held during specific times across two weekends. The Testpunch sessions will only last for an hour at a time. The sessions are as follows (all times are in Pacific Time):

  • May 26* — 5:00 PM
  • May 27 — 5:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 5:00 PM
  • May 28 — 5:00 AM, 11:00 AM
  • June 2* — 5:00 PM
  • June 3 — 5:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 5:00 PM
  • June 4 — 5:00 AM, 11:00 AM

*Note: The May 26th and June 2 demos are exclusive to North America.

To participate, all you have to do is download the demo from the Nintendo eShop. Although the demo isn’t live for a couple of weekends yet, you get get a jump on the process by downloading it right now!
