Nintendo’s eShop has drawn criticism for its limited library of both indie and Virtual Console titles. Today, Nintendo seeks to rectify their indie shortage on both the Wii U and the 3DS.

Throughout 2014, they plan to see a bunch of games released, which are highlighted in the sizzle real (viewable above). In fact, there are just too many to name, so you’ll just have to watch the trailer yourself. Some notable additions include
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse, and Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition.

Our Verdict

Drew Navarre
Name's Drew. Currently making my way through Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series and waiting for The Winds of Winter (A Song of Ice and Fire 6). I'm a subscriber to Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Universe, and Mega Man and I read Superior Spider-man when I can. I'm a pretty big Nintendo fan, but enjoy the other companies as well. As it stands, I have a Wii U and a new gaming desktop (3.5ghz processor, 2GB video card, 8GB RAM with support for 32GB) and plan on getting a PS4 in 2014. As for Xbox One, we'll see, but I'm sure I'll add it eventually.
