The Miraikan science museum in Odaiba, Tokyo has announced that they will open a Pokémon exhibit this Summer in collaboration with the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper in order to teach children the fundamentals of science. The exhibit will replicate a Pokémon Lab where children imagine themselves as Pokémon professors.

There will be a room where visitors deduce what Poké Balls contain which Pokémon, a room with details on various Pokémon species where children will classify them based on common characteristics, and a room that shows real-life scientific discoveries that were made by children. Additionally, there are plans for the exhibit to include a variety of content that appeals to all ages. The exhibit opens up on July 18, and tickets can be purchased
