id Software’s recent reboot of DOOM came out last Friday and has been well received by fans. According to a job listing, it seems that the developer’s next job might be another reboot of one of their classic titles: Quake. The listing reads, “id Software is looking for a Senior Physics & Simulation Programmer to work as part of a development team on legendary id game properties like DOOM and QUAKE.”

The last entry to the Quake series was Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, which was released nine years ago. This is all the news we have on their next project at the moment, but hopefully Bethesda or id Software will make an official announcement soon.
