Before Spider-Man released on PS4 last month, there was some controversy surrounding a graphical change that removed some details from a previous demo. The main thing most people were concerned with was the size reduction of some puddles. Naturally, a small section of the gaming community was furious with the changes, going so far as to claim Insomniac had falsely advertised the game. Most people, however, did not see it this way. The “puddlegate” movement was largely mocked and the game went on to be a critical success.
So now that some time has passed, Insomniac decided they would have their own fun with the issue. A brand new update for Spider-Man brought some new features in the game, including a New Game+ mode and a bunch of new features to the photo mode. Among these is a special sticker that lets you place as many puddles in your photo as you want. So if you’re really missing those extra drops of water, Insomniac has your back.
What do you think of the new update for Spider-Man? Will you be playing through again with New Game+? Let us know in the comments below!
We have a new patch today! Not only do we have NG+, but we added a bunch of stuff in Photo Mode, including:
rotation for stickers
shortcut to Photo Mode with the D-Pad…
…and I fixed this for you 🙂 pic.twitter.com/SW7Jxrxab6
