It was revealed in this week’s Weekly Shōnen Jump that Konami is releasing a new Yu-Gi-Oh! card game for the 3DS. Yu-Gi-Oh! Saikyou Card Battle will release digitally in summer this year, featuring new characters and rivals to battle against. One of the game’s main characters, Guide-san, will help you in duels, and your two main rivals will be Psychic Tendo and Strong 19. While Psychic Tendo will obviously use psychic type cards, Strong 19 will use monsters with a strong attack power.

Although the game is currently only confirmed for Japan, Konami did reveal that they were working on a 3DS game that would release worldwide this summer, so the chances are this is it.
