Whether you personally love or hate Fallout 4, there’s no denying that it’s garnered massive success, both critically and commercially. With many gamers throwing hours upon hours into the post-nuclear Boston, enormously high playtimes have been common. However, many players knew when to stop in order to take care of their real life issues, but not this guy.
A Siberian gamer is currently suing Bethesda over his Fallout 4 addiction. According to reports, this marathon to finish the game has hurt his health and cost him both his job and wife. He apparently didn’t leave the house for about three weeks, failing to interact with other people and even show up to his place of work. The unnamed man is suing Bethesda for 500,000 rubles (about $7000 USD) to account for his emotional distress. He was quoted saying:
“If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it. I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays.” — Siberian Man
