It was announced last month that Microsoft had cancelled their much anticipated Fable Legends. Furthermore, the company decided to terminate Lionhead Studios, although Sony jumped in and held a recruitment event for the staff who lost their jobs.

Since the game was so close to release, there’s a ton of concept art that the developers don’t want to go to waste. The artwork below is by Billy Wimblett, who worked on the game’s environment, assets, and creatures. The images show off some of the game’s enemies, areas, and a feel for what the final game would have felt like.

You can view more of Billy’s incredible artwork over at his personal site.
