Amy Hennig, famous for her work on the first three Uncharted games, is leading production on a new action game based in the Star Wars universe that is being made by Visceral Games, the team behind games like Dead Space and Battlefield Hardline. While the Uncharted series was Hennig’s claim to fame, she wants to stress that the upcoming Star Wars game is not going to be entirely like her previous work. While Hennig says the game is not Star Wars Uncharted,” she did mention that the games would be “spiritually similar.”

While the Uncharted games focus around the adventures of Nathan Drake, the new Star Wars game is going to tell a story from multiple angles. Hennig wants to tell a story from the points of view of both the protagonists and antagonists of the universe, giving the player a much clearer image of what’s going on.

Our Verdict

Adam Sherrill
Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
