Atlus is planning to release a “large number of titles” in 2016 according to company CEO Naoto Hiraoka, who told Famitsu the company’s upcoming plans for the year. Besides the highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive Persona 5, gamers should start seeing unannounced titles appear on news outlets all around the gaming community.

The first title fans can look forward to is Odin Shpere Leifthrasir, which is a remake of the classic PlayStation 2 game.

“In 2016, starting with Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, we plan to release a large number of titles. In the summer, we’ll launch the long-awaited Persona 5. Of course, in addition to that we have several unannounced titles.” — Naoto Hiraoka

“I have no doubt this will be a year Atlus’ popular series all gather together.” — Naoto Hiraoka

Look for Persona 5 later this summer on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and you can look forward to getting your hands on Odin Shpere Leifthrasir on June 6 on PlayStation 4.

What do you hope to see Atlus release in 2016? Personally, I would love a follow up to the game Catherine. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
