The opening of Bethesda’s E3 conference was very strange. After poking some fun at Walmart for leaking their game announcement early, the company welcomed Andrew W.K. up on to the stage. After an awesome live performance, Bethesda jumped right in to Rage 2.

Some gameplay was finally shown off for Rage 2. The first thing Bethesda told us is that you can drive any vehicle you see. This promises to blend amazingly with the game’s vehicle combat and seamless open world. The game looks fast-paced and the action never stops. The fluidity is sort of reminiscent to DOOM in a lot of ways.

The main character, Walker, is loaded with all sorts of awesome powers and weapons. There are tons of beefed up baddies for you to fight and unload your entire artillery on. You can check out some gameplay in the videos below.

Our Verdict

Writing is half of my life. Video games make up the other half. I decided to put these two hobbies together and join Gamnesia back in 2015. I spend most of my time working at a retail store and paying off my student debt. When I'm not getting stressed about the thousands of dollars I owe my loan providers, I play tons of video games (which just puts me into more debt). I'm also currently writing a novel in what little spare time I have. It's a story I've been wanting to write for a while, but I don't want to talk about it until I have most of it completed. Any Gamnesia-related inquiries may be sent to [email protected] Feel free to follow my personal Twitter if you want (@Pindlo). I mostly just retweet things.
