Capcom first announced Deep Down as a PlayStation 4 exclusive back in February of 2013, but it’s been ages since we’ve heard anything about the game. Deep Down went through some big changes early last year, and Capcom has been silent on the game ever since, but it’s apparently still in production as Capcom has repeatedly renewed its trademark.

On August 2nd, Capcom extended the US trademark for Deep Down for the fifth time, which is the maximum number of extensions that can be granted. This gives Capcom another six months to use the trademark in the United States or forfeit it. Capcom has until February to give Deep Down some sort of presence in the marketplace. Will we finally see the game re-introduced soon?
