One of the new gameplay features in Super Mario 3D World was the Captain Toad levels, where an adventurous Toad explored small, box-shaped levels to collect a number of green stars. These stars were usually hidden and had to be found by manipulating the camera. Toad was also pretty much defenseless; he didn’t have the ability to stomp away his enemies and so had to time his movements to avoid them.

Apparently those short levels were popular, because Nintendo is releasing a game specifically featuring Toad levels. It’s called Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and will release later this year for Wii U.

Name's Drew. Currently making my way through Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series and waiting for The Winds of Winter (A Song of Ice and Fire 6). I'm a subscriber to Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Universe, and Mega Man and I read Superior Spider-man when I can. I'm a pretty big Nintendo fan, but enjoy the other companies as well. As it stands, I have a Wii U and a new gaming desktop (3.5ghz processor, 2GB video card, 8GB RAM with support for 32GB) and plan on getting a PS4 in 2014. As for Xbox One, we'll see, but I'm sure I'll add it eventually.
