CD Projekt Red has announced that they’re not bringing
Cyberpunk 2077 to E3, though they may be at the expo with something else. In a recent interview, CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski offered insight into the developer’s E3 presence, saying they might be there and might be showing something, but he also dismissed the possibility of that something being their upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077. With the final DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launching this week, CD Projekt Red may reveal their other unannounced game, which is due to launch this year.

The existence of this unannounced game was revealed during the developer’s annual financial results conference, where they said it would be a ”
new type of video game format previously unexplored by the studio” that’s due to launch in 2016.

The full quote by Iwinski reads:

“It might happen that we will be at E3 and we will show something at E3, but I just want to make it clear it’s not Cyberpunk. We still have a lot of work to do with Cyberpunk.”
— Marcin Iwinski

Regardless, if CD Projekt Red is planning to release their unannounced game this year, an announcement should be coming soon.

Nothing fancy. I love games, and love writing.
