Microsoft had a strong showing of games at Gamescom, and its list of independent games was no less impressive. During its [email protected] reel, Microsoft showed off a wealth of independent games coming to Xbox One. Among some of the gems were Cuphead and Beyond Eyes, as well as a surprise appearance from Cities: Skylines, a city simulation game which is being ported from PC to Xbox One. In fact, all the games shown during this reel will be available for both Xbox One and PC.

My job on this site involves managing all our weekly content, and ensuring that they have a timely release date, but I also contribute with the daily news grind and the occasional editorial. I've grown up with video games, but have only recently taken an active interest in writing and discussing them at a deeper level.
