In just a few months, video game publishers, developers, journalists, and fans from all around the world will be congregating in Los Angeles for Electronics Entertainment Expo 2016. E3 is always one of the most prominent gaming events of the year, with major players in the industry holding press conferences to show off their most exciting upcoming games. After the presentations, the LA Convention Center is opened up for registered E3 attendees to go hands-on with all the upcoming products.

Despite E3’s track record as a key event in the industry, several major publishers have announced that they’re skipping this year’s event. EA will
host its own competing event instead of attending E3 (with the exception of having one meeting room), and Activision, Disney, and Wargaming are all skipping as well. Despite these absences, there are still plenty of well-known exhibitors, including Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo. Preliminary plans for the show floor have surfaced on NeoGAF, showing off the lineup of exhibitors, their position on the floor, and the dimensions of their respective areas.
