A few days ago, we reported that Mighty No. 9 is no longer launching in 2015, and although other stories (which we doubted the validity of and chose not to report on) surfaced contradicting that report, developer Comcept has officially confirmed it. In a post to backers on Kickstarter, Comcept says the delay will be announced to the general public at Gamescom.

Although most of the core gameplay has been finished
since January, “there are still bugs and issues pertaining to the online features that are included in the game.” Comcept has no new release date, but they are tentatively targeting the first quarter of 2016. You can check out the full explanation on Kickstarter.
