During today’s Live Build 2016 conference, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer announced various changes and features that are coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in the future. According to Spencer, Microsoft will be creating a unified store across all devices that will give “developers new features and consumers new experiences.” Spencer was not able to talk about the unified store in greater detail, but it was mentioned that the new store would go live later this year.

In addition to the unified store, Spencer announced that Cortana will be coming to Xbox One in the future and she will be the player’s “personal assistant.” Cortana will be able to help players with various challenges, game recommendations, and provide tips and tricks. Spencer also revealed that background music will be in the future Windows 10 update and that more features will be announced at this year’s E3.
