Cuphead is an upcoming indie title that has been drawing lots of attention at conventions like E3 due to its unique visuals and intense boss battles. Created by Studio MDHR (an indie development team comprised of two brothers), Cuphead is designed to look just like a 1930s cartoon, and it features old school run and gun co-op gameplay. Unfortunately, the wait for Cuphead just got a little longer.
Studio MDHR has just announced via a blog post on their official website that Cuphead has been delayed. The game was targeting a 2016 release, but it became apparent that they’d have to reduce the game’s scope to meet that deadline, so they’ve delayed it to “mid-2017” in order to keep their vision intact. Let’s hope it’s worth the wait!
