Late this September, Studio MDHR’s classic cartoon-inspired platformer Cuphead will launch on PC and Xbox One. There’s bad news if you were hoping for a PlayStation release, however. The developers recently reconfirmed that Cuphead will not be coming to Sony’s console. In a post on NeoGAF, the developer stated that “this Cuphead game” will be available on Xbox, Steam, and Windows 10 versions at launch, with a GOG launch likely to follow shortly thereafter. They also indicated that Mac and Linux versions might happen down the road.

Though Cuphead remains an Xbox/PC exclusive, Studio MDHR indicated that they own the IP, so given the language used in this response, it’s possible we may see a sequel on other platforms down the line.
