Nintendo recently surprised Super Smash Bros. fans with an update that included more playable stages, a new wave of Mii Fighter costumes, and a balance patch. In the past, data miners have been able to discover hidden files after updates like these, including the existence of Fire Emblem‘s Roy and Street Fighter‘s Ryu before they were officially announced. However, this does not appear to be the case this time around.
Data miner “Random Talking Bush,” the same source that uncovered Ryu and Roy, has dug through the update, but there was no indication of who we might see as DLC. The
Super Smash Bros. Fight Ballot closes in two days, so we’ll likely hear official word from Nintendo soon afterwards.
