Divinity: Original Sin was one of last year’s biggest shockers. Being a crowdfunded game, many speculated that the final product would be a bust. However, after Larian Studios raised over $940,000 on Kickstarter, the gameplay mechanics of their realized online title proved otherwise. The role-playing game, with a distinctive and entertaining co-op system, soon became a fan favorite. Now, Larian Studios has announced a Kickstarter for Divinity: Original Sin II.

The new game, which Larian calls their “most ambitious project ever,” is meant to be a prequel to Divine Divinity. While no further details have been shared, there is still a way to make the game your own (literally). If you drop by the forums at Larian’s main website, you can request certain rewards be provided for Divinity: Original Sin II‘s Kickstarter. However, if you want that cool t-shirt or baseball cap with the game’s new logo, you will have to share your ideas before the Kickstarter begins on Aug. 26th.
