Developer Klei has announced that the multiplayer expansion Don’t Starve Together will be leaving Steam Early Access and becoming available on the Steam store on April 21st, 2016. The expansion will bring much-requested multiplayer to Don’t Starve, allowing players to join each other’s worlds in their quest for survival.
The expansion will not be compatible with the Shipwrecked DLC, as it was developed with only the original game in mind. Don’t Starve Together is currently available on Steam Early Access here.
A PlayStation 4 version of the expansion is also in the works, although a release date has not been announced yet.
