Who would have guessed, but Just Dance will continue its yearly franchise tradition with Just Dance 2015. Fortunately, the game is changing the series with a new feature: community remix, where the camera that tracks your dancing (the Kinect or PlayStation Eye) will record you and your video can appear in other peoples’ games.

There is also an upcoming smartphone app called Just Dance Now that is actually a version of the series that is bigger in some ways, smaller in others. Instead of limiting the amount of players to a system, Just Dance Now turns your smartphone into a controller that records your movement. Therefore, any amount of people—Ubisoft claims the number can reach well into the thousands—can join in any game and be scored at the end, provided there is a second screen available to watch the dance moves, which can be another smartphone, tablet, or even a smart TV.

Just Dance 2015 will be out in October, most likely for all major consoles.

Our Verdict

Drew Navarre
Name's Drew. Currently making my way through Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series and waiting for The Winds of Winter (A Song of Ice and Fire 6). I'm a subscriber to Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Universe, and Mega Man and I read Superior Spider-man when I can. I'm a pretty big Nintendo fan, but enjoy the other companies as well. As it stands, I have a Wii U and a new gaming desktop (3.5ghz processor, 2GB video card, 8GB RAM with support for 32GB) and plan on getting a PS4 in 2014. As for Xbox One, we'll see, but I'm sure I'll add it eventually.
