If you’re still adventuring through the Alola Region in Pokémon Sun and Moon (or the Ultra versions of those games), Game Freak will soon be rewarding you with some Legendary beasts. Entei and Raikou, who made their debut in Pokémon Gold and Silver on Game Boy Color, are the latest Legendary Pokémon set to be distributed to eighth generation Pokémon players.
The two Johto natives will be available in all Sun and Moon games later this month. In North America, distribution is exclusive to Target, where they’ll be available from April 22nd through April 29th. Availability is a little more convenient for European players, as they’ll be able to download them in-game from the Nintendo Network from April 4th through April 25th.
The two Pokémon’s levels and moves will vary based on what version of the game you’re playing. Thankfully, the Pokémon Company has provided a handy graphic breaking down the level, moves, items, and abilities of each version. You can view the comparisons by clicking the image below.
Additionally, three Pokémon developers sat down to give their thoughts on Entei and Raikou in a new video. The clip features Pokémon Battle Director Shigeki Morimoto along with Kazumasa Iwao and Shigeru Ohmori, the Director and Producer of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, respectively.
