Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is an upcoming first-person adventure game being developed by thechineseroom (Dear Esther, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs) and the game will be set in a vast open-world. Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is a spiritual successor to Dear Esther and, in contrast, will be more story-driven. The game will be released for PlayStation 4 and PCs. Also unlike Dear Esther, the game will offer more interaction with objects like doors. The player will also have the capability to influence events that occur in the game, so this might also mean that there are multiple endings.
Of course, when it comes to the end of the world, you really never know.
At today’s Gamescom 2013 press conference, a trailer for Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture was shown.
Not much can be assumed about some games based on their trailers, but what do you think about Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture? An interesting name like that might be able to tell you something depending on how you interpret it. Leave a comment down below!
