If you own a copy of Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, you’re in luck. Rockstar has announced that if you own a last-gen copy of the game and you buy a new copy of Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC, you can get access to a variety of exclusive activities.
These activities include a new Michael centered mission, in which you participate in a murder mystery that requires you to find sets of clues to uncover the mystery behind it all. If you successfully complete this murder mystery, you receive two Noir Style Filters to use in both Story and Snapmatic Modes.
New weapons and cars are also included, such as the Rail Gun and a new set of Ammu-Nation shooting challenges for it. There will also be a new melee weapon named the Gory Hatchet. The exclusive vehicles include the Imponte Duke O’ Death and the Dodo Seaplane. Many classic Grand Theft Auto vehicles also make a return, such as the Cheval Marshal Monster Truck and a much needed, more maneuverable blimp.
Additionally there will be lots of monkey-inspired graffiti within Los Santos. If you mange to photograph all of the graffiti, you unlock monkey outfits for all players. If you previously owned the game, you earn a special Go Go Monkey Blista.
Franklin also gets a new set of missions that include a Wildlife Photography Challenge. Many new spices need to be documented, and if you manage to photograph them all, you get the Kraken sub to use. New stock car races are included, with the opportunity to unlock unique Muscle cars.
Rockstar also has many surprises up their sleeve that they won’t reveal until launch day. Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will release on November 18th, and for PC on January 27th, 2015.
