We’ve all got some games we love more than others, but there are also games that we believe don’t deserve all the praise they’re getting. That doesn’t mean those games are necessarily bad, but when you look back at it, some of us think they’re definitely overrated

As the main picture might have clued you in, I think The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is one of the, if not most overrated game of all time. I believe people’s judgements are far too clouded by nostalgia to see the game for what it really is: a very good game that set the bar for future Zelda titles, and gaming in general, but not the pinnacle of what gaming has to offer. I feel it has been surpassed by most Zelda titles after it. I played the Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword before I played Ocarina of Time, and I believe those three titles have surpassed Ocarina in pretty much all things. That’s why I wasn’t really blown away by Ocarina when I first played it, but of course that might have been entirely different for you!

What do you believe is the most overrated title in all of gaming? Why do you believe that? Share in the comments!

I love video games. That's why I write about them. My first console was the Nintendo 64 and we got it when I was 4, along with Super Mario 64. I finished the game on my own when I was 6. One of my all time favorites of that generation is Donkey Kong 64. I love the bosses, I love the level designs, I love how you can play with multiple characters, and I love how many collectibles there are. I was mostly a Nintendo gamer until 2010, when I discovered Assassin's Creed. My PC could barely run it, but it played good enough to provide an amazing experience. Since then I've had a lot of catching up to do, and I'm now a big fan of Mass Effect, Dead Space, Resident Evil and the Batman: Arkham games, among others.
