Lately there has been a lot of speculation about the possible surprise arrival of the Virtual Console on the Nintendo Switch. With Nintendo’s last official statement on the Virtual Console coming from Reggie at the end of E3 and sounding rather optimistic about its release timeline, Nintendo seemed to be getting ready to roll out something classic in the near future. It looks like we have another indicator that it’s coming soon, as some GameCube titles have become new additions to the long list of games on Nintendo’s European servers.

According to findings from Twitter user MrNantendo, the GameCube titles on the list of games in the servers include SEGA’s first multiplatform title, Sonic Adventure DX, and cult classic European/Japanese title Doshin The Giant. While there is currently no explanation behind how these listings appeared, we might find out soon.

Would you be excited if GameCube games finally came to Virtual Console? Do you think that this is a fake? Hit the comments to let us know what you think!
