When The Coalition released Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One late last year, the developer also gave away the entire anthology (consisting of Gears of War 1, 2, 3, and Gears of War: Judgment) for free through the console’s Backwards Compatibility program for a limited time. In case you missed this offer the first time, The Coalition’s studio head, Rod Fergusson, recently announced that the offer would return for Gears of War 4. No specific details about the distribution were revealed, but it is once again only supposed to last for a limited time. Make sure to take advantage of it if you can—it’d certainly be the best way to catch up on the Gears story!
