Just yesterday we saw Citizens of Earth return to the 3DS eShop after having been exploited to run homebrew, but the hackers have already struck again! A brand new exploit has been developed now, this time using Paper Mario: Sticker Star as a means of running unsigned code on Nintendo’s handheld. If past example is any indication, the game will probably be pulled from the 3DS eShop in the coming days, unless Nintendo is able to develop a patch quickly enough to make that unnecessary.
What are your thoughts on these hacking efforts? Are the exploits and homebrew worth the risk of getting games removed from the eShop? Let us know in the comments!
