Some gamers may become nostalgic over Pokémon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance. Pokémon is near and dear to the hearts of many, and I’m sure some wish to revisit Emerald to take a look back at their gaming past. One team of hackers has done just that, but in a very unconventional way.
By importing Linux to a PlayStation 4, Fail0verflow has used the operating system to demonstrate the emulation of
Pokémon Emerald at the 32nd Chaos Communication Congress. That’s right: they played a classic Pokémon game on a PS4. This is quite a step forward in the hacking niche of the gaming world; who knows what Fail0verflow will achieve next?

Pokémon has made its way to the PS4? Tell us in the comments below.
