SEGA recently announced that following the success of the western launch of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F last year, that it will be releasing its sequel, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd, for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita later this year. In their announcement, SEGA took the time to thank all of the dedicated fans who played and loved the first game, saying:

“That’s right. You’re not dreaming. We believed in all of you and we asked for your support – and you gave it to us without reservation. It was your supportive comments, your encouraging words at every place we showed the game, and your drive that made all the difference. Some of you bought the game twice – others three or even four times. But whether you picked it up once or four times, all of you helped make Miku a success, and still do. Thank you so much for that.” –

Because of all the support of dedicated Hatsune Miku fans across the west, SEGA now sees fit to grace us with yet another installment. I still haven’t played the first one, but it looks interesting enough – and I do like rhythm games.

What do you all think of this? Excited about the prospect of anther Hatsune Miku game? Are you still waiting for senpai to notice you? Comment below!
