Pokémon Sun and Moon, the newest games in the Pokémon franchise, will launch in less than three days, on Friday, November 18th. To celebrate this momentous occasion, dozens of GameStop stores across the United States will be hosting midnight launch parties for the game. Essentially, participating GameStop locales will stay open for hours past their usual closing time on Thursday night, and at exactly 12:01 AM on Friday, they will begin to sell the first copies of Pokémon Sun and Moon to any attendees.

Although most GameStop stores will be decorated for the event, there will be no activities available at these midnight launch parties, other than the purchase of the game. In the description for the event, GameStop recommends that passionate fans show up a few hours early to avoid waiting in line.

Several dozen GameStop stores are participating in this event, in every state of the continental U.S. A full list of the participating stores can be found here, on GameStop’s official website. To find a participating GameStop store near you, simply enter your location.
