During Nintendo’s E3 Spotlight livestream, the company unveiled the first trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s DLC. This DLC was first announced back in February, and we got more details last month, but now we’ve gotten a look at it in action. The first DLC pack is called “The Master Trials;” it puts Link through the fascinating “The Trial of the Sword,” which forces him to start from scratch again before fighting through difficult enemies and interesting environments, as well as gives players new armor, difficulty modes, and features.
We also got a small peek of the next DLC pack, the “Champions’ Ballad.” All we can say so far is that it appears to have some connection to Kass and the four Champions.
DLC Pack 1, “The Master Trials,” will be available on June 30th, 2017, and DLC Pack 2, “The Champions’ Ballad,” will be available this holiday season. Both can be purchased through the $20 Expansion Pass, which gives players access to the DLC packs as they’re released.
