We all know that Pokémon is popular, whether it be the trading card game, the video game, or the anime series, but have you ever wondered how much the games themselves have sold? Well now, thanks to Siliconera, we have estimated of numbers of how many copies the games from Ruby and Sapphire to X and Y have sold over the past few years. It’s really cool to see the numbers on just how well the franchise has been doing as of late!

The figures are as follows:

As of March 31st, 2013:

Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire – 16.22 million

Pokémon FireRed/LeafGreen – 12 million

Pokémon Black 2/White 2 – 7.81 million

As of March 31st, 2014:

Pokémon Diamond/Pearl – 17.63 million

Pokémon HeartGold/SoulSilver – 12.72 million

Pokémon Black/White – 15.58 million

As of September 30th, 2014:

Pokémon X and Y – 13.29 million
