The Pokémon series has continued to improve graphically over its two decades, slowly evolving from the 8-bit Game Boy look into the 3D adventures we enjoy today. Those visuals will likely take another leap next year, as a report from last month indicated that a third, improved version of Pokémon Sun and Moon is headed to Nintendo Switch.
We’ll have to wait a while to get an official look at the next iteration of
Pokémon visuals, but in the meantime, YouTuber CryZENx has put together another Unreal Engine 4 tech demo to showcase what the series could eventually look like. This time around, he has imported the character models and animations for Incineroar and Salazzle. Aside from some significant lighting issues blurring the image, the models and animations look pretty great! You can check them out by clicking above.
