The internet’s not ready to put this one to sleep just yet. Fire Emblem Fates stirred quite a controversy for all manner of reasons. There’s the split into multiple releases, and there’s that weird petting minigame that kinda sorta got removed from the western release. Well, BriHard’s here to comment on that latter one.

Taking off from the previous uncovering of dialogue and recordings from the petting minigame for the game’s European release, BriHard uses his experience in QA testing for game localizations to shed some light on exactly “Why Cut Content Gets Localized” despite being cut from the actual game.
