Everybody in the video game industry could only watch in awe as Hideo Kojima strutted onto the stage of Sony’s E3 press conference to the soundtrack of Mad Max: Fury Road. After a hard year with Konami, Kojima-san is apparently eager to return. Working with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Kojima debuted his latest project, Death Stranding, to plenty of oohs and ahhs. What’s more, Norman Reedus, the star of the cancelled Silent Hills, stars in the game. The trailer is totally a metaphor, what with the inky hand prints and floating figures, but that’s pretty standard for Kojima. The project is in early stages, but it’s lovely to see Kojima back at work.
