HTC’s Virtual Reality Headset, the HTC Vive, Launches in April for $800


In a surprise announcement today, HTC revealed the price and release date for the HTC Vive. According to HTC’s press release, the HTC Vive will be launching in early April and it will cost $800. The HTC Vive will come packaged with two wireless controllers, room scale movement sensors, and 360 degree tracking. The Vive’s SteamVR integration will allow the headset to be up to date with the latest features and updates. For a limited time only, the HTC Vive will also come bundled with two VR games called Job Simulator and Fantastic Contraption.
