Players will be able to take control of Iden Versio, the commander of Inferno Squad for the Galactic Empire, when Star Wars Battlefront II hits store shelves on November 17th. The most recent story trailer details the struggles Iden and her team will have to go through in what looks like an emotionally riveting single-player campaign canon to the Star Wars universe.

There is a lot to digest in the above story trailer. Operation Cinder, Emperor Palpatine’s final orders to see the Rebellion destroyed, goes into effect. It even looks like players will get to play on Naboo, on which man-made storms ravage the planet as seen in the events of the Star Wars: Shattered Empire comic series.

Beyond that, Iden Versio and her crew (including members Gideon Hask and Del Meeko) will fight on Endor right after the destruction of the second Death Star. Afterwards, they take orders from Iden’s father, Admiral Garrick Versio. During the Battlefront II campaign, prominent characters from the films such as Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Maz Kanata will make appearances.

What are your thoughts on this new story trailer? Personally, I’ve never been more excited for a Star Wars game! Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Hey all! I've been a gamer since I was three. I'm one of those people with gaming so ingrained in them that watching my father play Super Mario 64 is actually my first memory I can recall. I love writing too! I'm writing an original fantasy series that takes place in another universe; it may take some inspiration from some of my favorite franchises. I've been a journalist for a few years, have worked on local and national teams, and have garnered experience assigning stories, editing, writing, interviewing, hosting a television series, running a YouTube channel, and doing other stuff that's more fun to mention in conversation. Bios can drag on. Anyway, I'm super stoked to be a part of the Gamnesia team! Thanks for having me!
