It has been over a decade since Koei Tecmo and Ninja Studio’s Nioh was first announced. The last we heard about the game was its confirmed Western release, but it has now been announced that the game will release this year. Furthermore, the game’s Alpha Demo will launch this month, so the wait really is almost over! Nioh is set in a Japan at the time of a civil war, and it incorporates creatures from Japanese folklore and exciting samurai sword fights.

The demo will run from April 26th to May 5th, and players who clear the stage will be able to download The Mark of the Conqueror DLC, which will entitle you to some special extra content in the full game.

Will you be trying out the Nioh demo? Let us know in the comments!
