Back in July 2014, Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against Take-Two Interactive’s Grand Theft Auto V, where Lohan claimed that GTA V’s “Lacey Jonas” character was an “unequivocal” reference to her. Take-Two responded to Lohan by stating that the only similarities between Lohan and Jonas was their youth and blonde hair. Take-Two also accused Lohan of suing them for “publicity purposes,” which Lohan denies. Last Friday, a Supreme Court judge from New York ruled that the case would not be dismissed and will move forward.

Take-Two attempted to throw out the case by saying that Lohan filed a lawsuit too late, but the judge responded with the following:

“Defendants have not been able to prove, at this juncture of the litigation, that the republication exception to the one year statute of limitations is not applicable to this case because the intended audiences were the same as those of the original publication and the images consistently remained the same.” — Joan Kennedy

Ned Luke, who voiced Michael de Santa in Grand Theft Auto V, voiced his own opinion on the matter by tweeting out an image of a cow with the hashtag #LindsayIsNuts.
