During the recent Nintendo 3DS Direct, we learned that Mario Sports Superstars is headed to Nintendo’s handheld system early next year. This combo game includes baseball, 11-on-11 soccer, golf, horseracing, and tennis all in one package. While Nintendo will be publishing the upcoming game, they’ve outsourced development to two trusted partners. According to a listing by the Australian ratings board, Mario Sports Superstars is being co-developed by Camelot (a team with a long history of Mario sports games) and Bandai Namco. The latter also paired with Nintendo on the latest iteration of the Super Smash Bros. franchise.
