Capcom’s iconic Mega Man franchise celebrated its 30th anniversary in December, and they’ll soon be launching a new TV show and a new main series game. Continuing the love for the Blue Bomber, Capcom has also just revealed a new 300 page artbook featuring over 30 years worth of character designs, box art, promo art, and many rarely seen art pieces.
The upcoming artbook is a collaboration between Capcom and UDON Entertainment, a publisher of comic books, graphic novels, and art books, as well as English editions of Japanese manga and Korean manhwa titles. The upcoming art collection is titled “Mega Man: Official Complete Works,” and it’s slated to launch on October 16th, 2018. Here’s the artbook’s official description:
“With over 100 video games to his name, Mega Man is one of the most recognizable icons of gaming.
Mega Man: Official Complete Works showcases 30 years of artwork from this classic series, featuring character designs, box art, promo art and many rarely seen art pieces. Fan favorites Proto Man, Bass & Treble, Rush, Dr. Wily, tons of robot baddies, and of course the blue bomber himself are all packed into this prestigious collection.”
