Metal Gear Online has been confirmed to make its major debut at next week’s Game Awards, a new event that’s planned to replace last year’s globally panned VGX.
According to a recent tweet by host Geoff Keighley, he will be joined by Metal Gear director Hideo Kojima at the show in Las Vegas to show off the new mode, making it the first of many big reveals planned for the highly anticipated awards program. It’s also a rather fitting place to reveal it, exactly three years after The Phantom Pain‘s mysterious reveal at Spike’s 2011 Video Game Awards.
