Konami has released its financial report for the nine month period ending December 31st, 2015, and despite their controversial actions as of late, the company remained profit positive during the first three quarters of the fiscal year. As such, Konami is anticipating a year-long operating profit of ¥24 billion, or just under $200 million.

The biggest contributor to Konami’s financial success was their Digital Entertainment division, which of course includes their video game business.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was a big profit-driver in that category, and Konami reports that Kojima’s final Metal Gear title has now shipped over 6 million copies worldwide since launch.
