Inspired by Metroid, action-adventure shooter Xeodrifter was first launched on 3DS last year, then later for PC. Reception has been strong for Renegade Kid’s game thus far, and there are plans for it to release on PlayStation 4 and Vita as well. One more platform can be added to that list, as director Jools Watsham revealed on a recent podcast that Xeodrifter will also be coming to Wii U. There’s no word on the release date of the port, but a cross-buy option with the 3DS version may be possible.
