At last year’s E3, Nintendo unveiled a new Metroid game that eschews the normal isolationist gameplay for a four-player co-op experience. Metroid Prime: Federation Force was slated to come out in late Spring, but the 3DS exclusive has been delayed. Nintendo of Europe announced via Twitter that it’s now arriving on September 2nd. Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account announced that the game has been delayed to make adjustments to its balance, and the new Japanese release date is August 25th. The North American release date has been pushed back to August 19th.
